First Day of My Unemployment

Wow. It's been awhile. It's funny how time seems so long when you're in it, but then you look back at the last time you posted on your blog and it's like almost a year ago and the event you wrote about seems so far away and yet it still feels like you posted on the blog a few weeks ago. Yeah. Run on sentence. I thought it was funny.

Anyway, I got booted from my licensure program. Yup, I'm an Ed major without a license. Kinda sucks, but I'm actually glad. I hated the program I was in and had been wanting to quit since August, so when I got kicked out for a misunderstanding, I didn't fight it. Kinda lame, I know. But I am so tired of all their shit.

So, today marks the first day of my official unemployment as a college grad. I guess I don't technically have my diploma, but I should be getting that soon. So far, I love not having to wake up til 8. I have given myself a strict regimen that includes wake up at 8. It's awesome. In an hour and a half I have showered, gotten all pretty, started my laundry, had breakfast, gotten tired of facebook, started a new resume, and am about to finish my blog.

I'm still waiting for that striking, all encompassing panic attack that is sure to come as my unemployment depletes my savings. But until then, I'm rather enjoying myself. Heck, with all this time you'll probably see me around more.
